Tomorrow is the BIG day!
« on: October 21, 2004, 07:05:31 PM »

My dealer called and said my red SEEG would arrive tomorrow.  I feel like Steve Martin in The Jerk when he ran around yelling "The new phone book is here!"  It's not exciting to anyone else but the arrival of this new bike makes me feel like a kid the night before Christmas. The dealer promised to call me when it arrives and give me time to get there so I can take pictures of it being uncrated. Maybe after tomorrow I can sleep a little better.

Nice.  I had a similar feeling when I picked my R/K up..  the night before, I didn't sleep much at all...  I even counted broom strokes (sweeping out the garage in my head) to try to fall asleep...  I had my buddy drive me to the dealership (about 30 miles) the next morning and it rained the whole way there.  We got a break in the clouds as I arrived.  The dealer went thru the pre-sale stuff (yawn, itch, scratch - I can't wait to ride MY scooter - how much longer are you going to talk - blah, blah, blah) and finally I said, "We need to cut this short as it's gonna rain again."  Finally, I was on the road.  It sprinkled on and off the whole way home - but Man, what a ride!

Enjoy!

OK lets start a new topic in General CVO so people can share their stories the title should be "The day I picked up my new CVO" I think most of us can relate to what a heart warming experience it is!!!!! [smiley=1112.gif] [smiley=love_1.gif]

RRSteve, just wondering if you picked up the cherry yet.  Post some pics of you and your new machine when you get a chance.

Well, the bike finally arrived today. The dealer had bad info and I had to spend a few more days waiting but it arrived today and he said he would have my pipes, race tuner, and ac kit on and ready for me to pick it up by lunch tomorrow. I am attaching some pix of the uncrating.
