the 18 CVO 117 bikes are a different No air cleaner , no slip on no street tuner no nothing EPA or other wise . That is the deal on that bike..
I am a little confused by the above statement.
I have an 18 CVO RG.
While I had great plans for more invasive performance upgrades, I have to decided to hold off on those for a bit until some of the well known other issues with the M8 have been addressed.
However, I am wanting more performance. I already have Fullsac cores in my stock mufflers and had planned on using the Fullsac MX headpipe and a better AC.(I haven't made up my mind on which AC.) Originally I had planned on using a Thundermaxx ecm, as my thinking was it would be the easiest to return the bike back to stock configuration if a "warranty" issue should arise. But now there is some speculation that the factory ecm maybe recording odometer readings and thus might cause DT to flag the bike. (I don't know if this has been confirmed yet.) So, since those in the know have confirmed that the TTS has successfully returned the ecm back to stock, and left no trace for the DT to flag the bike, I figured that is the way to go.
But, your statement above makes me pause my plans. Are you saying, that there is no way to "enhance" my CVO other than the mediocre HD components and tune?
