Seems high. I just sold my '03 for $12K. Didn't want to hold out anymore for the $13K I was looking for. I figured, since it was for someone I knew, I'd cut him a break and move the bike! I had it on HD Trader for almost 6 months with barely a call. Mine wasn't chromed out much more than stock and had 8500 miles, but it's an 100 Year Anniv. Model and is 2 years newer. I wouldn't think the '01's worth more than 11-12K. But what the hell do I know! Hoist!

Hoist, I think you gave your bike away. I've always thought those 100 anniversary models would yield some serious coin later on in the years. But what do I know. My 97 RK is for sale $9750 40k mi. I'll keep it before I give it away. I'm stubborn that way, I guess.

I had it listed for $13.5K and got very few calls. I was trying to get $13K for it. Since my friend needed a bike, I thought I'd do him a favor and move the bike at the same time. I have 2 other bikes besides the SERK and have no need for 2 RKs. So I didn't think it was worth holding out for $1K. No regrets. No looking back. Life's too short! Hoist!

I think I'd do my best to talk him down to < $12K.  There are plenty of bikes out there in that condition to be had at a lesser price.............but what do I know?

A lot of things come to mind when I see this. 1st is the miles. Bike is just broke in good! Chromed out, from a dealers perspective, accessories usually won't bring up price of the bike as much as a seller would like. Your better off removing and bring the bike back as much as you can to stock and sell your accessories on ebay. But, if I'm buying the bike and it has everything I want, it's huge! I would always try to negotiate price unless this is a bottom line offer. Then it's yes or no. Finally, I think where you live can increase or decrease what a bike is worth. Let us know what your Son decides and remember........

2700 miles is almost a new bike

FYI ...we just sold a silver and black 2003 Roadking Classic with 15K miles to a guy in Knoxville for $15400 ..he saw it on HD Trader and drove all the way to Paducah to pick it up ... you just NEVER know ...and old car salesmans saying is "there is a azz for every seat" you just have to find it

Man, I hope I sell my other RK. I've had very little interest. If I can't sell it, I guess there are worse things, like owning two m/c's is a bad thing........not.
