Of course for france the machine will not have the famublous and attended sound. So it's why I want to give back it's most original sound and power.  :orange:
I heard that Stage 1 is something to do ( I am looking to buy it via internet 380$ in US become 882$ if you buy it on France !) and i am looking for mufflers having a tipical sound and giving the right pôwer ( I am not looking to make a aver speed machine).

Thks to help a froggy and new HD biker guys in your world. :worthless:

Welcome bsimshd, you need to contact a fellow Frenchman, bisounours, he also just got his new SEUC.

He has done a lot of research which you should find handy in France.  This link should get you to his profile.  http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?action=profile;u=2641

His name is Jacques, he lives in SAINT CHEF , Rhône Alpes - FRANCE.

Your restaurant that the meeting is in doesn't look like some of our typical "biker bars", looks like a nice night out though.

I will admit that we have spent a few nights in Seattle at the Metropolitan Grill after Thursday night rides with a glass of cabernet and a good steak.................

How is he going to manage that, given that he has the famous intake and exhaust valves, same as us, Dogols...? As soon as he disconnects those, the ECU is going to throw up error after error.... :(

Bonjour Bruno,

I'll send a PM for explain you our problems for upgrade our bikes and the remark from Eqcons in french.
Actually, no correct way is tested but we look for.
Today, we have not solution from the MOCO, it means that it's necessary to negociate with the dealer for the maintain of the warranty if we (or if the dealer accept ) mount other system.

Well, I continue my research. :-\

Some french Bikers are very happy with the Kess-Tech Mufflers, it's an expensive option, that for now I will not take.

I am looking to use the latest EFI CD system 32107-01G ( Dealer in France it's around 700€, yes Euro dear friends )

So far, I have a look to use Screamin' Eagle  :carrot:
But , it seems by reading the Document on the Harley Website that the Screamlin' Eagle Street Performance touring Mufflers is not comptatible with our CVO ?

Is somebody able to give my the "best" Harley 2007 CVO Mufflers reference I can use ?  :orange:
Of course I am looking for a US one, as in France, they modified it for "noise" adaptation.

Bonjour Bruno,  :vrolijk_26:

It's possible to download the last version (J) of SERT here :
http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=11768.0  :2vrolijk_21:

You have the full CD with User's Manuel, software and maps (with maps for HDI : international version).

It explain not how we manage the flaps because the map #94 is for HDI 110 CVO with A/C SE and race exhaust.
If we mount a SE A/C, we dismount the flapper when we change the backplate. Probably the solution is eliminators.

I read never something about Kess Tech on this site but probably somebody uses these.

Perhaps it's interresting to look for the US exhaust mounted on the CUSE² ...... (It's not the stock exhaust same us).  :-\

Do you have some snow in Paris, today ? Here it's snowy.  >:(

Best regards

I've not heard of the Kess-Tech mufflers before, so I've just had a look at their site.   Les prix sont une blague!!!! :nixweiss:  Anyone who pays these people that sort of money for a pair of mufflers has more money than sense!   >:(

I'm not sure that using a SERT will work for you, unless you are planning to keep the valves on the intake and exhaust, are you?

The plan you should have is to use replacement headers to get rid of the valve on the exhaust, (which will allow you to use any mufflers you choose), and replace the air filter with the SE/K&N type.  As far as I can then make out, (though it's a bit uncertain!) you could then use a US Domestic flash for your ECU - if you can get one!! - and then use the SERT.  However, a better route, I think, is to use the Thundermax with Autotune replacement ECU from Zippers.

Bonjour, Jacques.

TM is somewhere between here and Chicago - I suspect sitting in a large pile in UK Customs!  :nixweiss:
