MRF.ORG
« on: March 01, 2007, 01:19:02 PM »

I just came across MRF.ORG and it looks like a worthy site/group.

Basically, they lobby lawmakers (or try to) to do the right thing regarding motorcycle riders. This includes the hideous EPA regulations to helmet laws and everything in between.

I would like to know other's experience's with this group and general thoughts.

Never heard of them, but their site looks interesting.  I'll give it a look see, and find out what they're about.  Thanks for the link.  PEACE!

Our MRO has been a sustaining member of the MRF for a long, long time. We endorse what they try to do and feel strongly that our interests need protecting at the national level. They give us a voice in D.C. and it's sorely needed. Compared to the money spent by the safety crats it is a pittance but it's something. FWIT, I also belong to the AMA, not so much for the racing but for the lobbying. I'd encourage all to support the MRF and your local MRO.

Tahnks for the input. I've been through their site and am impressed with what they do. When I looked for my state rep, I noticed that Florida was not represented. So I got curious and noticed there are a lot of states not represented.

I think either this org is pretty new or just not well known enough yet. We do need to support them, since they support us.
