It's got to be a spring thing.  The red bike will have pretty much a full weekend's tinkering before today is done also.  Installing the winter collection of bits and some general maintenance. 

Finally got that Kuryakyn side tranny cover installed (thanks Spyder!).  It didn't want to fit but with appropriately mad skills and use of a bench grinder and some good clear coat it's on there and looks ok.  The new HID headlights the other evening.  Couple other little shiny bits.  Poly handlebar and swingarm bushings and repaired a little wiring hash that had happened at the rear fender to the saddlebags.  It'll be much more robust now than the factory (poor) option.  All in all not a bad way to spend part of a weekend.
