All most all Harley exhaust have a 1 3/4" header pipes. I have a S&S V124 motor that needs to breathe. I currently have RB Racing LSR 2-1 with 2" head pipes but I am tired of the 2-1 sound.
I am wanting some staggered duals exhaust for my Road King with a 1 7/8" or 2" header pipes for Large motors. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I am wanting pipes that are right side not a L/R bagger exhaust.
Lots of pipes from other bikes fit motors but the mounting brackets is what's different. I can make a bracket but not pipes.

I did not find a commercially available 1 7/8 to 2" pipe.    I took a Drago Fang pipe and remove the 1 3/4 step and made it 1 7/8 to 2" for my B2 124

Note worthy - 

The stock drago 1 pipe 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 to 2" with 2.55 collector with 2.5 baffle supported  167 hp.    I also had a D&D Borzilla with quiet baffle on my Jims motor and it supported 155 hp would have delivered more, but the bike had 337 gearing instead of the stock 315.

Going to 1 7/8 will soften the bottom end power, if you go this route you might consider a gearing change if your looking for all the upstairs power.   Might also check with Casey Wegner on their pipes.   

Another idea to consider is that Burns sells the components to make or have your own pipe made to your spec.   

What type of torque and hp are you currently delivering?   

The megacat by D&D does not have a falsie pipe, but is a 1 7/8 to 2" to 2 1/8 pipe, but is built to support b2 and b3 heads from S&S so you do not have to use the S&S port adapters.   However there are fitment issues pre - 09 and if you run a twincam setup in the cam chest it will not fit unless you grind down the twincam cam cover.

Primary gearing 24/36= 1.5, Secondary 33/70=2.1212.  equals
3.18 gearing on 5th but coupled with the Baker 6 speed Overdrive
Gearset 6th gear final ratio is 3.18x.86= 2.73. this puts me just over 80 mph in 6th at 3k RPM.  V124 Motor was custom order from S&S for touring. 10.1 compression 585 cam. Bike pulls hard through the gears. Going to a 600 cam for a little more power. Cam has exactly same timing specs as the TC 625 but a 600 lift instead of the 625. It's faster than my FXR4 with S&S V111.

What additional work has been done to motor or heads that you say it’s a special order?   

What numbers did the motor produce with the 585 and RB pipe?

If it were mine I’d go to a 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 to 2” headpipe for the build you have and are going to.   

A friend had the RB pipe on a soft tail 124 and when he changed it out he gained 11 hp and 16 torque granted it wasn’t a 585 cam it was a 640.    The motor needed the back pressure.

I believe it has 10:1 it may have been the 10.2:1 dished pistons that the TC124 LC motor has. Going to the S&S 600 cam.
Otherwise it's the regular V124. Motor has the Super G carb and S&S new ignition.

Supposed to be 10.25 on the LC motor.

Did u ever put the bike on a Dyno?

No. I don't  like  Dyno's. You have  to sign  a waiver in case so they aren't  liable  if they screw up your Bike.
If anyone  is going  to break it, it will be me!

 from what I know about pipes (that aint much) some longer stepped primary tubes and a 2.5 baffle in the can should getcha what your looking for.... some good choices have been mentioned

the pipes you have make good power

using pipes for "proper noise" on a 124" ??

its like replacing the v12 in a rolls with a v8 because you like the sound better

I have the d&d boarzilla bolted on to my custom 124ci in my 2009 roadglide,fit,finish,sound,performace is superb,i have the ghostpipe option and quietest wrapped baffle,not too loud at all,perfect deep rumble,easy install,no complaints,like the rb lsr on my softail  built 110 but in my opinion the sound and quality of d&d is a bit better,thats all
