My GPS is off a good 60-70yrds which is huge when using it in a urban area. It is wanting me in some cases to go past an intersection I should have turn at, make a u-tun and come back to the intersection to make the turn. The distance to turn slide scale that appears at the bottom of the screen indicates this as well. It happens no matter where I am, in the city or out in the country. Is there any way of synchronizing it? I am using it a lot visiting down here in Florida.
This must be an issue specific to the CVO software. I used the navi yesterday on my '19 RG Special for 181 miles and turns were right in line with voice prompts and right at where turn was.
The issue I found was I imported a ride I planned with Tyre and the route was just as planned, but when I came to a way point, the next turn at bottom of screen would still show 45 yards to way-point. When I tried to bring up maneuvers, is said "Searching" continually. When I used voice prompt at bottom left on Navi scree (HATE that you cannot show this on the screen, have to hear it using the voice prompt) It announced accurate distance to next turn. After the turn, it would go back to showing maneuvers. This only happened with a way point, a turn was fine. I found a work around: I would just "delete next way point" a short distance before I got to it and it would take me to next way point or turn. It never took me off the route I had planned on Tyre. Imported rout as .GPX file, so I am sure issue is with GTS.
This is small potatoes to what you guys with the CVO package are experiencing, just thought I'd let you all know the non-CVO is also not perfect, but appears to have less issues than y'all have.
