Hey Fr8!  Nice looking new scooter you got there.....from one melon owner to a former melon owner, I gotta ask............do ya miss the melon?  Much as I miss my old Ultra, I just don't think I could give up my melon.  But at least you got the 103, so you'll still have that torque and permagrin.  Best to ya Bro.

Thank ya sir.....don't really miss it after yesterday...took the wife out and she commented how much more comfortable she was, not just the backrest for her but also the regular floorboards, she has room for her feet again.  Momma is happy, so I'm happy.  The 103" makes it bearable for me, as long as I got the go, the rest is just wrapping.  :)

I completely understand.  I experienced the "unhappy Momma" syndrome one time..........it was on the old Ultra........and it was due to her lack of prior planning (didn't dress warm enough).  I couldn't get her home quick enough.  Needless to say, these days the Girl PACKS EVERYTHING.........leaving me to share the room in a saddlebag normally reserved for rain gear and tools.  Good thing I learned how to pack a duffle bag in the Army.  It is amazing how many pairs of drawers, socks, and t-shirts you can stuff in the fairing lower boxes.

Anyway............enjoy that new scooter..............and remember, you're always FAMILY!  Hope to meet up with you on the highway. :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:
