Softtail is some what updated, new frame and rear suspension. Motor was already in use. No new technology or even some what new like traction control, ride modes. No increased power.
Corvette totally new, engine, transmission, and so on. New ride modes, traction control and so on. Corvette design was 6 years old. Corvette out performs it competitors in every category for significantly less money.
Harley competitors have traction control, they have ride modes, more modern suspension, and most have more power. They under perform their competitors in almost every category, for much more money.
My bet, harley for 2020 will have a Bigger M8 engine, no big leap in power. No big suspension improvement like ride modes or traction control. Touring bike may get a frame update as current one is 10 years old.
