Can we please get an update on Roger? Is he home?
I don't expect he's riding again quite yet, but I hope so.

Layla,

Roger is still in Bakersfield. I haven't had a chance to visit him as all care facilities are off limits due to the virus. Melanie said he's made a few gains, but has leveled off. His phone got run through the wash, and she is working on getting him a replacement.

I really don't have anything else to report.

Thank you for the update. As much as I hate to be the bearer of bad news, I am guessing that Roger's riding days are over. It just sounds like he is not in a condition yet to get back on the bike.  :'(

One year since Roger's accident. Keeping him in our thoughts and prayers.

Hey everyone,

Roger is no longer in Bakersfield, he’s moved. If you would like his new address, please send me a PM.

I really don’t know. Due to the Covid restrictions I was unable to visit him while he was in Bakersfield. I’m on my Afghanistan deployment now and got word from Melanie that he moved. I’ll visit him when I get back. If I had to guess I’d say his recovery leveled off to where they felt it was the time to move him.

I wish I could tell you more.

Ok, thanks. If you happen to get an update from Melanie please pass it on. Stay safe over there.
