Hello,
I am Pascal from France.
I am looking for reviews on Vance & Hines Eliminator 400 mufflers.
I wish to mount them on a Street Glide CVO 2019.
Could any of you give me his opinion on their sound?
I would also like to know if it is possible to refit the original heat shields?
Normally their 4 inch diameter should allow it ....

I have the 400’s on my SEEG and they sound awesome! I have the V&H dresser dual head pipes so mine are louder than what you would get when using the factory head pipe.  I can’t speak to the retro fitting of the heat shield as I don’t have them.

If I were you I would contact Fuel Moto and inquire about how they perform on an M8.  When I ordered mine they asked if I was installing on an M8 (mine is a twin cam) and mentioned something about the 400’s not playing well with the M8.  That was when the M8 first came out so I’m sure they have them dialed in by now.

I have attached a pic of the exhaust from the end so you can see that they are free-flowing without obstruction (other than turbulence created from the baffle).
