Sounds like someone had a bad day on I-95... ;)  I've seen a reference to an air horn called the "Mini Beast" or something like that on the forum here.  It's supposed to be the same size as the cowbell.  It's not the nicest looking thing, but it supposedly works.  Have you looked into HD's airhorn Tony?
Cheers :2vrolijk_21:,

That Stebel air horn you can completely hide behind the cowbell or Kuryakyn's horn cover.  Now that HD air horn; that bi*ch is ugly.

Thanks guys.  Appreciate all the input.  Haven't been impressed with the HD air horn - almost as ugle as the trumpets hanging off the front of that red CUSE (thanks AJ).
Think I'll take a closer look at TwoLanes fix and see what happens.

Aw, c'mon Tony, don't you want to "dress" up your SEUC?  :D  You're right, I was thinking about the HD air horn, but after seeing it, it is butt-ugly.   :-X  Where's a good place to get the Steibel?

Charlie,
If you go to the link in TwoLane's reply, I believe he gives all the gory details - think it mounts under the existing horn cover.

This is the link to the Propad Mini Beast Airhorn :
http://www.thepropad.com/product.asp?numPageStartPosition=1&strPageHistory=cat&strKeywords=&strSearchCriteria=&PT_ID=93&P_ID=161

It is more expensive than the "roll your own" version but is about a 15 -30 minute install. Everything is under the chrome cover. The noise goes straight out the side so it doesn't come back on you like the trumpets with lowers on the Ultra. The blank area on the cover is also great to add your own emblem too to personalize it.

Was reading American Iron magazine the other day and they mentioned this one - Fiamm Freeway Blaster Horn. It's 132 decibels and cheap ($15.00 before taxes/S&H).

I had seen that also.  But don't you need two - one low tone and one high tone?  If not which one works best alone?

Jerry, you can listen to each one on the website. For 15 bucks, the low note might be worth trying! ;) Hoist! 8)

Howie,
You're right at that price try it if you don't like it get something else. Also there was a "High Output Horn For Touring Models"  P/N 69158-01, but this is not showing up on the MoCo website as being available anymore. I had originally thought about getting this for my bike and I understood this would fit in fairing and work in unison w/the other horn. I'm not sure if there is a way you can have one of these (Freeway Blasters) in the fairing, and one in the original place the horn is now.

Howie,
BikerWorld had an article about using two of the FIAMM horns - can't recall which ones specifically - but they used a "high" and "low" as you indicated above.  Indicated that with the two, you were getting significantly greater sound than any standard auto horn, let along motorcycle blowers.
I looked at Howard's again, but don't care for the "stacked" arrangement for the Ultra (because of the lowers) and as VaEagle said, with lowers, the sound's going to come right back at you.  I'm thinking I'll probably give the Stebel a try and do the "roll your own" TwoLane approach.
Thanks again everyone for the input,
TC

I just thought it might be louder than the stock and worth trying for $15. I'm not losing my Eagle Cover, so 1 horn it will remain! ;) Hoist! 8)

Howie,
Agree, for $15 bucks and if it fits under the eagle cover, it would be worth it.  The Aerostitch site recommends if you go with one, to go with the low note.  I may try it and see, if it doesn't work?  Well, can always add a third horn to the truck... :D

How about one of these?

134dB and looks as if it might fit under the Cowbell....

Here's a link to another thread, I have the mini-beast and the latest version looks like the mounting bracket will hold up well.  It uses the Stebel horn and is very loud as stated previously.  Here's the latest model of the Mini-Beast with the SE Badge I added. http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=5532.0
