I was looking to purchase a stool or creeper to use when detailing my SERK. Does anyone know where to find a good one or have any suggestions on one? The old knees aren't what they used to be!

Mike, let's get together for a scoot sometime.  I'm just down I-74 from ya!

Here's a decent selection of stools & creepers.  I've got one like the 38944 and love it.  Get a good jack underneath the bike, too, if you don't have one already, and no more knee problems!

I use the same creeper I use to get underneath my truck.  Makes it real easy to scoot around the bike when working on her, detailing and cleaning.  Plus, since it is down so low, I can see, and get to everything.

I have a an ol milk crate i sit on to clean my bike...cost=nothing. the only issue with it is the waffle butt it leaves behind

Here's what I have, You can get it at Costco for about 85.00

I used a stool on wheels once.  Was so proud.  It was all brand new.  Shiny red.  I even put a coat of wax on the power coat before putting it in to service. 

Rolled bike out in the driveway for a good wash and clean.  This would be the driveway with the downhill slope.  Got the bike all washed up.  Set about finish chamois and then detail work.  Dutifully working that pretty new stool sliding around the bike.  I was no doubt just so proud.

Working on the rear of the bike.  Wax on, wax off.  Wax on, wax off.  Mr Myagi would have been offering such jubilant praise.  Then, suddenly, Don, his pride and his new stool and are scooting down the driveway.  Zoooom.  Tried to lay it down before getting to the street but, somehow, the stool didn't lay down.  Driver came off, bonked head a wee bit.  But stool continued on to the street.  The score that day was F250 1, Stool 0.  A sadness was felt all through the neighborhood.

Exactly. Occasionally think about a rolling one but fiegure it just turns into something to store 95% of the time. I'll probably end up buying one at a garage sale though.
