Hello all,

Since I bought my 2020 CVO Limited I am having an issue when I load routes from Ride Planner to the bike.  The next maneuver at the bottom will freeze, so if for example the next turn was onto Main St, after I made the turn onto Main St it will stay there until I either hit a Waypoint (resets it) or go the wrong way and it recalculates it.  The map itself shows the pink line continuing the ride just fine.  I tried using HD Connect to send a route and had the same issue.  Tried plugging in Home from a destination and it works fine, so it seems its only from Ride Planner.  Have a ticket with Harley and they are having the engineers look at it because they feel its a Ride Planner issue as well, but am I the only one having this problem?  If I am then I cant imagine its a Ride Planner issue.

The latest update will help with that issue. I've complained about it to the MoCo several times when the GTS came out. Although it hasn't been resolved completely it is much better. Still freezes occasionally but it seems to clear up after you go past the next waypoint.

Happens to mine all the time.  I haven't figured out when it happens (what causes it), but I can tell you that I have never used ride planner.  I do use imported routes from basecamp., but it sounds like it doesn't matter what app is used to build the route, the Boom! is locking, and it is a problem in the GPS unit.

I have the new update and it still does it.

Doesn't freeze as often now for me and does unfreeze after the next waypoint is reached. Hopefully they come out with another update to finally fix the issue. It only took them 4 or 5 years to get many of the issues resolved on the GT system.

I have to admit that the last update could have helped, as I don't pay too much attention to it.  I do know it stuck on an instruction at least once this weekend.  I use Garmin for guidance, and the Boom for overview and radar.

My setup includes a RT z590 for primary, a Garmin 276Cx for secondary, the Boom! for tertiary, and if all else fails, I have a S9 that uses wifi from my phone for google directions when needed.  Yes, it's a sickness...

I updated the software right after it came out and still does it for me.  Im glad I am not the only one.  As a workaround I put a waypoint after each turn, PITA but that has gotten it to not stick for long anyway.

Had had the freeze a few times this past week end.  Some times it stayed froze for a few turn others it cleared next turn.  The voice directions were always correct.

Or you can pull up the "maneuvers" and skip that Waypoint.

Best solution though is Android Auto or Carplay, the ones who actually listen to its customer base, hire competent software engineers and fix the issues without taking 5 tries to do so.

When the route freezes the maneuvers screen goes blank and you cant do anything.  Gonna try the other tips I have seen here because next Friday we are heading to Mackinaw City and then the Museum.

Took a ride today and saw the "maneuver freeze" happen on my "new retrofit GTS", but only once during the ride. Happily, the pause/restart worked ........thanks

I did 217 miles yesterday with route created on Harley Ride Planner then transferred to bike using HD app. I have zero issues, worked flawlessly. Luck of the draw I guess.
