TTS won't connect to bike?
« on: June 16, 2020, 06:49:52 PM »

might be something dumb but just installed my d and d exhaust and plugged in my tts to the bike and computer opened up the tts module updater and it said it can't find bike even tho the  ignition switch is on. so then I tried opening up my base map to connect to the bike and it still can't find the bike. anyone else ever had this issue ?

Try deleting then reinstalling the mastertune program. When windows does updates it sometimes does things in the registry that prevents the software from finding the module. I have had this happen on several occasions. Reinstalling the software using the updated has always fixed it.

I did try and reinstall the interface updater but maybe I’ll try to uninstall everything and re download it. Weird thing is it recognizes the tts modular number just won’t find the bike when I turn it on. Unless the factory cord in the fuse box side cover isn’t connected. Or the 6 pin tts cord isn’t working but I don’t know how to test that. If I plug into another bike it will probably vin lock.

Happened to me too at first. Make sure your switch is on 'Run' as well.

I do have the run switch on almost thinking the plug on the bike might not be hooked up but didn’t want to start tearing all the wiring and ecm out yet. Maybe try to uninstall the computer apps and re install first. Seems weird it recognizes the tts but not the bike. Unless there is another plug and the grey one under the side cover is the wrong one for some reason. But that’s always the one I used on my other bikes.

Talked to Steve today and did some testing. Something appeared to be wrong with the 6pin cord or the tts so they are sending me a new a new cord and tts box hopefully I’ll be up and running Friday. Thanks for the help guys.
