It was me that asked You and Terry about the adjustable knobs.  Mike said for our choice there was no option, just the adjustable knobs. 
Rjob-You being in Washington state, the 2nd day air was the thing to do.  I have the True Track-easy install and a quality piece.  Who knows if it helps, figured it couldn't hurt any.  Also have std 440's on the rear, a definite improvement.

Well hell, if you've got one of those side plates off then go ahead and do the Sta-bo poly frame bushings too.  That is if you like a stiff firm rear end.

So I call the local parts mgr and ask if he works with Sta-bo, sure enough he laughs, just ordered $500.00 worth for my own bike he says....ok order the bushings for mine I say.  Hey what about progressives?  Laughs again, just ordered 412's for my bike he says....my whole rear end is gone.  OK I say get me the 440's on the way.

I guess if your goin' to go you may as well go all the way.

Well, I'm not realy sure. I've been interested in the ones with the air compressor, and switch on the handlebars. BUT...not a necessity, so, not yet

I hear you, there just comes a point.........

I think I'll be good with the 440 HD, I leave the tour pack on all the time and ride two up a lot, so the heavy duty ones should be what will be best for me.

Yea, I totally understand. If April 15th wasn't so close.............I don't mind paying taxes, but, I think the IRS wants me to fund the war in Iraq all by myself.

I wrote Max today and suggested they need to look into development of an adjustable on the fly shock that is superior to Legends, but cheaper.  I think there's a market out there for something in the 1k range that's better than Progressives version.  Or just an easily adjustable shock (no spanner wrenches, please) in the 6-7 hundred dollar range that would be as good as their front suspension.

He's in Tokyo looking at/testing brake pads....

With the Progressives IAS 440s in the range of just over $400 something that is only a little more expensive but a lot better may be a tough nut to crack TC.  They actually are pretty good shocks.  The improvement felt going from stock Showa's to them is significant. 

Obviously don't know what "better" might feel like on these bikes as it's not been experienced.  But what we've got there isn't bad.  Given their described predilection for going into competition against one of their own contractors and colleagues it's an open question how interested they might be to pursue such a product; even if it could be produced and then sold profitably in the price range hoped for.
