Terry wants to know WHY our UPS driver doesn't look like that???? He said we must be living in the wrong area. It is 29 degrees outside she might want to put some ear muffs on. ;D

No question a bike on Traxxions conversion is a bike on rails.

I doubt I would be comfortable on a bike that was stock after logging the miles I have on my SEUC with the conversion.

No way, Roger...you get used to it so quickly, but then just ride a block on a bike that doesn't have it and you just as quickly appreciate the difference again.

We have had a cold snap, not sure when it ends, but sure glad there's no moisture with it.

There is just SO many places a person could go with that, but I will refrain out of respect for others...

Terry, when I read that I leaned back and thought of chivalrous ways to keep her butt warm.

I'd like to stick with the lowered look on the SEEG.  I thought I heard guys say you are going to scrape less with the Traxxion setup, anyway, even if you stick with the lowered suspension.  True or false? :nixweiss:

Maybe not. While the AK-20 cartridges do reduce the amount of front-end dive, they also reduce the amount of front-end lift under acceleration. Without the AK-20's, your front end will raise more on acceleration giving more ground clearance when you're on the gas in a corner. Now, some of this will be offset by the squat caused by the cornering loads, so in the end I have no freaking idea if it will help or not. It will be more stable tho and that's a fact.

On the other hand, having the AK-20's installed will cause your bike to handle a lot better inviting you to go deeper into corners and ride it harder, resulting in more aggressive lean angles, leading to more scraping. The extra clearance gained from riding at stock UC settings will help to offset this change in riding habits.

Don's suspension should still be lowered and he can speak of that.  I'm the lowest performer rider of this forum so my thoughts don't count on this.   :-[

I think Don is somewhere in the middle...not fully lowered (12"), but not 13" either.  He will correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm 98% sure of this.

Terry-

I don't know where my front is at height wise but it doesn't LOOK any different with the AK20's..  Even lopo Bob has benefited from the AK20's..  Handles better, front tire stays on the road, and no more bottoming out of the front forks.  Don and yourself did your homework on this upgrade.  Again, thanks.
