Roger,

I'm virtually certain 12" is correct for the SEEG.  I know for a fact it's lower than my Ultra which is 13".

Bob

I appreciate the responses, I know the SEEG is 12", thanks for confirming and I was pretty sure the SEUC was 13" but the confirmation is what I was looking for.

Chip and I talked yesterday and Traxx is getting a shipment in that should have what we need but they won't have confirmation from Italy until today or tomorrow.

I am most likely going with the 13's as my SEUC is stock height.

$1,250 X 2 = $2,500..Wait...$1,250 x 3 = $3,750.

Just thought I'd help.

You forgot the Tru-track cost  :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2: :bananarock: :bananarock:

and Bitubos on the rear...$650 x 3 = $1,950

$1,950 + $3,750 = $5,700.

What does a brand new 1100 Honda Shadow cost?

Rog...SEUC is definitely 13", and the SEEG is 12" from the factory.  The standard Bitubo is 330mm and the lowered version is 300mm, if I'm not mistaken.

The lowered look looks good, but if I were in your shoes, I think I'd go with full travel on the suspension...13".  Scrape less chrome off that way...

I agree Terry, Chip and I talked about exactly that.  He said Nancy scrapes her boards with the std. height and he doesn't with the 13" set up.

I haven't riden with Nancy but she might scrape the 13's from what I've heard :2vrolijk_21:

I definitely will go with the 13's as much of my riding will be two up with Cindy.  After my mental error in Nelson I can use all the help I can get :nixweiss:

What does a brand new 1100 Honda Shadow cost?

Let's not forget my H-D wishlist I started yesterday, that's another $1,450 + $5,700 = $7,150.

I can tell you that Nancy would have no problem scraping a bike with 13" height either.  The way I ride now since getting the Traxxion, I still scrape at times, and it startles me for a millisecond every single time I do it.  I like all the cushion I can get...big difference in just touching the boards and digging them in.

Terry,

Can you teach me and Ken how to only make it last a millisecond?  ;D

No question a bike on Traxxions conversion is a bike on rails.

I doubt I would be comfortable on a bike that was stock after logging the miles I have on my SEUC with the conversion.
