Nexx garage door opener

I installed this on my Ryobi GDO:

https://getnexx.com/collections/nexx-all-products/products/nexx-smart-garage-controller-200

$79 and it rocks. If you are a non CVO owner and contemplating the HD garage door opener, I'd think about this instead so you do not have to spend $149 and take off your fairing or remove your headlight.

The phone app is slick and there is a "Just Drive" function where you set your location and the distance you want the door to open, 100-150 FT and when you have your phone on you, the door opens when you get inside of that range you set.

App announces when door open and closes if you want. You can set reminders if garage door is open for a certain time.

Since I have the Ryobi, I had to send them a remote and the wired it with an adapter at no charge.

All in all, for $79 made my sh$tty Ryobi opener work like it should and I bypassed Mother HD for a GDO

Just have to persuade my landlord...

If "landlord" is your significant other, can't help, lol. If "landlord" is really the landlord, Nexx unit is as simple as placing small box (size of cigarette pack) on top of opener and plugging it in.

If only the landlord had been my significant other it would have been a walk in the park.
