Thank you JR (and MJ and Jerry and everyone else). I had a great time in Memphis. In fact that was a grand day acros the board.
Started with a beautiful morning and a little hop on TC's V-Rod. A nice ride out of town with TC and Diva through what was an absolutely beautiful day to ride across north Alabama and Mississippi and on in to the Memphis area. Couldn't have asked for a better riding day to enjoy the spring and the highway.
Got to JR's and met his family. And we all headed downtown. A grand time indeed.
The group did turn in to groups as JR and I got separated after seeing Alice in Wonderlands huge pink chair (maybe we went through the looking glass). Whichever side we were on, however, we enjoyed our evening. The music was great. The crowds were fun. A good time was being had by all. Then a little after 1:00 it was a beautiful morning for the ride back out to JR's place.
JR, I was out the door only about ten minutes behind you guys. So we didn't miss by much. Got to meet the kids for a few minutes as I was loading up. Thanks again so very much for your family's hospitality and the the great time that evening.
It was a beautiful ride on home Sunday as well. Coming diagonally across northern Arkansas was a fun ride and all the little towns were there own entertainment as always. Got home a bit before 4:00 and had picked up my niece for the carnival by around 5:00. Finally dragged her away still pleading for "one more ride" at about twenty to ten. Past a four year old's bed time but I think she'd had the most fun of all for the weekend. So it seems everyone scored quite well this time around.
Thanks again gang. Enjoyed it a lot. Can't wait for a next opportunity.
