Boom! Audio device updater
« on: January 29, 2021, 10:11:57 AM »

Decided to install WHIM myself this weekend. I have now tried for 2 hours to update WHIM and Expand headset. Every time I open the HD software, it tell me "Failed to recognize device. Cannot open USB" I plug in WHIM and headset and computer recognizes both, HD software does not. Anyone have any ideas or had this issue? HD Customer service advised me to take the bike to a dealer. Lol

Something to try. Make sure the bike ignition is off. Open the device manager first. Click next then plug the usb into the computer and WHIM. Click next and follow instructions. Can sometimes take a minute to recognize.
