Realistically...add that to a CVO and HD will charge $55k for an Ultra.

Just bring back the V-Rod engine, change the gearing, put it in a touring frame and forget all this other crap.

Yep a friend of my now long pass away. Owned a dealership and the second year the V rod was out. He told me that's the motor H-D needs in the touring bikes. He's long gone but he was a master builder of bikes.

I thought that was a mistake when the V Rod came out...should have taken that motor & reconfigured it for a bagger.  Now, Indian has beat HD to the punch with a performance bagger, which seems to be selling well, indicating the demand was always there.
