« on: March 27, 2007, 09:21:35 PM »

With Spring in the air I always like to pack some Beef Jerky in my saddle bags and I thought I would ask if anyone knows of a Excellent Beef Jerky

My all time favorite is Pat's Beef Jerky in Liebenthal, KS - 785-222-3341    http://www.dailynews.net/ads/pbfjerky/order_form.html

My favorite of Pat's is the Peppered Jerky - Oh So Good   a few coins but darn good 1lb bag $21.50

Love's Truck Stops carry the best Beef jerky I have ever had. It's made By Robertson's Hams. Its on the dry side which I like but the flavor is to die for. $21.99 a pound for 5lbs or less. Here's a link for ya http://www.robertsons-hams.com/store.htm?mode=shop&cid=7 Cheers!

The Mocos jerky was pretty good - samples they gave out in Daytona were a bit on the sweet side (for me). I like the peppered jerky better.

Robertsons is very good jerky.

Sometimes I make my own - love that smell.
