She's on the way!

Buddies were over the on the weekend just to piss me off ! The weather has just become rideable and knowing that I was still waiting for my new ride, showed up just to rub it in. To top it off, I was busy fitting a neww solo seat on my wifes new Sportster, which was really getting me down not knowing if I was even going to see a bike this season. Funny thing , I had this feeling today, so I called the dealer during lunch. Couldn't get through, line just kept ringing , not busy but no-one would answer. Had a couple minutes left so I tried again, the dealer answered and said " you must be a mindreader, I was just going to call you , your  bike has been shipped, you'll be seeing it in a couple of days". :bananarock: :bananarock: :pepper: :pepper: :bananarock:

It's a SE road king, cobalt blue. Did not get a color choice but expecting it will look great. I had to relay on a buddy who owns the dealership and when he went to a dealer show and saw the 3 color choices side by side, he picked rhis one for me. Hoping he's done good ! ow I'll have to dig out all of those part numbers that I copied down from Hoists posts. Starting  to get excited here guys, been a long wait! Now I'm probably going to get a little stupid ordering STUFF ! Gotta love iT!  ;D :bananarock: :bananarock: :drink:

And so it begins! Well, enjoy the whole process SERKUS. I had a blast! Still am, of course! Get that camera ready too. You know the routine! What'd you decide to do to it? When you get Stupid, order from a 20% off dealer online. You'll have everything before the bike comes. Negotiate a deal with the Dealer to put it on at delivery. You'l be in good shape the day you ride it out of there! Lots of Luck man! Hoist! 8)

I tossed and turned in those last few nights! I kept making lists and lists.
Reread posts on what to look for when picking it up. When you get there you'll forget all except what you've written down. The excitement overwhelms you!

Beautiful bike!  Good idea to look at what Hoist has done - part numbers, etc.  Reading his posts here - he would not steer you wrong.  The 20% off dealers he recommended can save you a ton of money.

The happiest days are when a new bikes arrives.

Great new! I far as we are concerned, you are getting the BEST color. Red may be faster but the Cobalt Blue is where it's at.  :smilie_eimer:

Congrats and try to get some sleep.  My CUSE was supposed to ship today and arrive Monday/Tuesday.  Haven't had a chance to call the dealer yet.  Will check tomorrow...
