I am glad that this is working out for you it would really stink to be in the situation you described with a new 30k bike that should be worry free and yet here you are in this huge hassle.   While you may not be willing to say anything or Jinx the situation until you get this all squared away or down a path far enough that you feel confident.   Would you  share some pictures of the bike after the lockup / wreck?

 Having been through a pretty big crash, I can identify with the emotions. The first is always "how's the bike?" I am glad to hear things are being worked out, as they certainly should be! I have to admit, after reading your story, and the other related 110" melt downs, I have been a little timid about riding 'til I get her tuned. I am at 1250 miles and haven't experienced any engine noises, but I can tell she runs a "little on the warm side"...all my best for this situation to work out for you with the best case scenario! I am still thinking of designing a custom oil cooler w/fan just for the cvo's...hmmmm...
