It ain't no bagger, but they're all touring bikes when it's all you got! I used to tour on my '85 WG and '95 Dyna and thought I was quite comfortable. But I do the same as you Rog. For the past 11 years now. Not looking forward to any touring on my solid mount 4-speed anymore! The rolling Barcoloungers are the only was to travel! ;) Hoist! 8)

So I got out there and ran the cobwebs out of the DWG3 for awhile.

Not much time for pics but here we go........................took a little putt up by Lake Whatcom in Bellingham and stopped to get this shot.
Rog,
Thanks so much for sharing the pics.  It's been so long since I was stationed up in Seattle (1980-82) that I'd forgotten how beautiful "God's Country" looked.  I have fond memories of riding my Sporty up through Deception Pass and coming down Whidbey Island, catching the ferry back to the "mainland" and riding around all that beautiful country.  Some of the most beautiful motorcycle riding up in the Pac Northwest.  Thanks again bro for bring back great memories for me.
Cheers :2vrolijk_21:,

You got it Red.  I was born here and other than a couple short TDY' in the Air Force never really lived any place else that I remember.  My dad was stationed in Chula Vista during the Korean War and mom and I were there for a couple years I guess.

The northwest is really lovely and when the weather is good you can't beat it.

You got that right.  Even in the height of the winter, when it's the drearyest (hope that's a word), when you get that one nice day stuck in there, it makes you forget everything else because it's so beautiful up there.   I've always wanted to go back to the Pac Northwest to live, but my job has never taken me back that way. :(
