Hello everyone. Been riding a 2006 Night train for 15 years and decided to get a 2021 CVO RG. My last long ride, the wind beat me up too much on the Night Train. Getting old I guess
Night train had Screamin' Eagle had a stage 2 95CI motor with Vance and Hines radius full exhaust. It wasn't crazy fast, but it was snappy enough for me. I only mention this because after getting my CVO home, and going for a ride, I was a little disappointed with the power. I thought 117CI would be a monster but it wasn't. Granted, bone stock everything and a much heavier bike, but I still expected more. I went with Khrome Werks Eclipse full 2:1:2 4.5in Exhaust, 131CI HD kit, and HD street tuner. Still in the break in process but I'm already happy with the power and I haven't even opened it up yet. Only other mods so fare are the Factory 47 12" bars, Ciro highway pegs, and saddle bag guards (this bike is much heavier than I'm used to and I can see accidentally dropping it somehow...).
Been lurking here for a couple of months and getting a lot of good info here - much appreciated to all the posters out there!
