I am picking up my new RG CVO tomorrow and looking for ideas from others on what exhaust they are using.  Id like to keep the bike as close to stock as possible and am currently thinking to keep the stock exhaust and maybe install something like fullback baffles.  What has everyone else done?

I know a lot of guys on here go with Fullsac baffles in the CVO mufflers and they seem to like those as well.

I kept mine looking stock as well.
Really hard to beat the Fullsac option.

It just so happens that this was the next shirt in the rotation today. Have Fullsac on both my bikes. Don't see any reason for anything else unless you go with a crazy build.

I just recycled my t-shirt into the rag bin. Wife won’t let me wear my ragged shirts anymore!LOL

When you say “crazy builds” do you mean anything over about 150/150?
Just asking because we’ve seen those numbers on full exhaust, not just mufflers.
I think the OP was wanting to keep things sorta “stock”. With that in mind the cores in 1.75” would do the trick.
Not too loud, but still will reach to 135-140 +/- with a mild build, and stock heads.
I’m keeping my M8 quiet and reliable for the long rides, but still have the power.

fullsac baffles.  Sound good, look stock, reasonable cost option.  Great on stock motor.

Want more, Fullsac head pipe, uses stock heat shields again.  Also capable of making great power, look at my signature.

Fullsac all the way.  I went with the 2.0 baffles and the Techmat per Steve’s recommendation for the CVO 117.  Will add the head pipe later this winter.

I say fullsac as well.  I have the 1.75s in my 16.  I am very happy with them.  I put the V/H system in years ago. Never really liked any of their mufflers.  I kept the head pipe, went fullsac and never looked back.  Stuart. 👍

I'm the odd man out.  I am really liking the HD Street Cannons.  They are not loud - but then I did not want loud.  They are deeper in sound, and allow more of a HD rumble now.  Coupled with the Performance Street Tuner Flash (and some data collection on the street with Smart Tune) they give a nice sound and smooth out the engine, while maintaining warranty.  Plus, the stock heat shields will wrap around them (albeit while tucking over, not under, the inlet heat shield) and look pretty stock.

The diameter increase is nice while not seeming out of proportion, and I like the look of the two-piece slant-cut tips on them. 


Oh yeah, and the bike goes in today for the 131 build to make them sound a little better.

Like others I went with Fullsac, headers and 2.25 baffles with the TTS tuner. I am concerned with what to do with next bike due to all the noise around any warranty issues. Several dealers have told me that if you do a tuner it voids your warranty.

My 19 mako has the stock exhaust and tune. I'm fine with it and I don't have to worry about the warranty. I took it in one time with a question and that was the first question I was asked. Stuart.

I think I am pretty much sold on the Fullsac baffles.  Planning on going with the 2.25” and Techmat blanket.  For those of you that have done this please confirm the following:
1 - bike does not require to be tuned
2 - factory Harley warranty is not voided

I went with the 2.0” baffles with the Techmat.  Stock headpipe.

1. No tune needed
2. Warranty still valid.

If you do eventually do a tune, using a non-HD tuner will void warranty.

2-1/4" inserts are pretty loud for me.  I went with the 1-3/4"      much better. I have the 2-1/4s if anyone is interested. Stuart.
