Well my 07 Street Glide has been Screamin Eagle'd , put on the 103 kit with SE 255 cams (same as the 110"s use) and the SE "street performance touring" slip-ons /SERT .   Runs much cooler than it did as a 96" , which I attribute to the SERT.  The oil cooler arrives tuesday , will go on after break-in # 2 is done.

The new SE slip-ons are not much louder than stock , although they have a much better basso profundo tone, from 3000 up the bike and pipes wake up and have a nice growl.  The Clearview 6.5" recurve is a much better windshield..

The Diamondback braided brake lines help the feel, heated grips are on , but will have to reserve judgement till winter.  The heated Corbin Dual Tour seat is still being made.  Took my wife our for a spin , she is pushing for the Tourpack .. I reminded her my birthday is in 8 days ... Hint Hint ...

Slowly making my way to SESG level.

Looking good nidan! You still use the Deadhead Derby Cover too! ;) Sounds like you're getting this thing just how you want it. Good luck with it man! :2vrolijk_21: Hoist! 8)

Thanks .. Jerry is my all time fave, I even built a tribute guitar after his famed Tiger, I'm even in the "Touch of Grey " video in the audience which was filmed at a 3 day run at Laguna Seca raceway. Grew up in Palo Alto where the Dead got their start , and went to the same college as Phil. Been a fan since the Warlocks days.

I have 2 sets of the "steal your face " covers, the black set was originally on my black FXDX.
I tried the polished on the other side , but with the black and silver engine , the black "relief" cut looks better . Now it's sort of ying /yank thing with a lil "dark star" thrown in.

The boys at the dealer and local chapter can always tell my bikes, as they always have the covers.

Nidan when they instal the oil cooler make sure they rout the clutch cable away from the oil cooler to avoid this.

Try your local hardware store for clear plastic tubing sold by the foot. Cut to length you need, then slice down the length with exacto knife then snap on cable. Works great, been using it for years wherever braided cable might touch paint or metal.
