I don't have a clue, Charlie.  Gary (mech at Waughs) just told me if I could locate a SERT to be sure I got the "G" part # suffix.  Sounds like from the other info on here about the "recall/back orders/etc." that it's probably a software "improvement" of some sort.  I'll see if I can find out anything further and let you know.  Hope you can make it Saturday.  It's looking now like I may trailer the 03 down and bring the new girl home in a box  :(.  I'd certainly prefer to ride, but the weather just doesn't look too favorable at this point - snow in April in VA??!!!  I'll see what the forecast says later this week before I make my final decision.
Tony
This SERT stuff is confusing. :confused5: Unbalanced (Harry) is providing an upgrade here - Race Tuner Software 4.62 version J that is version "J". If someone was to buy an older version and get a copy of this software update wouldn't this bring them up to date? :nixweiss:

BTW - Don't feel bad about not riding your bike down/back home with he weather they are calling for on Saturday I was doubting if I was going to ride the :pumpkin: down to meet you. Still let me know what time you are going to pick it up and I'll see if I can get down. I forgot this was Easter weekend and my daughter will be home from college, but if I can make it work I'll try to get down there in my cage if the weather is to cool/cold.

Gary/Charlie,
I know I was told that should I find a SERT, to ensure it was a 32107-01G (think that's the right number - but the important part was the letter suffix).  I'm guessing there's some "simple" change peculiar to the 07's, but don't have a clue what that might be.   I saw Harry's post and it made perfect sense, but since I'm going to try to keep the wa******y in force for at least the first couple of years, thought I should probably go with what the shop was telling me.
Hope to see you guys Sat.  I'll probably be down early (before the HOG meeting at 1100) to get the bike loaded up and ready to roll home.  I'll let you guys know what time for sure as we get closer.  Thanks.

What's even more confusing Gary, on the SERT is if I've had the bike dyno'd and it has a custom map, do I need to have the custom map redone with the new software??  :stars: I guess I best get on the horn to the dealer tomorrow and find out.  Hope to see you Saturday at Waugh's.  Between the three of us, I think we can "fine-tooth" Tony's ride for him.  ::)

TC,

Congrats on the bike.  I too am without a SERT :'(  Not sure what I am going to do but the boys up in Paducah are putting on the slip ons and the K and N.  I guess I'll have to figure out the rest when the SERT's arrive :P

Wayne,
Thanks and looking forward to meeting you folks.  Guess this is my 5th bike from Don.  They've always treated me fairly and I'm happy with the mechanics there.
Have a safe trip to NC.  We'll talk soon.

Congratulations on the new bike. I tried to order one from Waugh's but they told me they were all spoken for. I have purchased 4 bikes over the years from Waugh's and I agree with you, they are usually fair. I did manage to find one, the last one for Whitt's HD in Manassas. Only thing is I have to wait till June. I was down in Beaufort, South Carolina last week and got to meet Hard10. Great guy, and has a nice looking SEUC. Anyway, wish mine was in, but it's getting closer.
Again congrats and hope to see you on the road here in VA.

DT,
If you frequent Waughs, we've probably met.  Waiting's the pits!  Hopefully everything is set and I'll pick up on Saturday.  Let me know when yours arrives and I'll try to make it to Whitts to help you celebrate!
