DT,
If you frequent Waughs, we've probably met.  Waiting's the pits!  Hopefully everything is set and I'll pick up on Saturday.  Let me know when yours arrives and I'll try to make it to Whitts to help you celebrate!
Tony

That sounds good, June can't come soon enough. So, did you get her home OK? I hope you didn't try to ride in this great spring weather today. We had a dusting of snow this morning, and it's April 6th. The next few days don't look too good ether. Anyway, hope you got her home OK and I will let you know when I hear from Whitt's.

DT,
Nope.  I'm having Chubby bars installed and the wrong brake/clutch cable showed up, so they weren't able to get things buttoned up.  Won't be ready Saturday either.  Probably Monday.  Not a problem at this point.  I don't them rushing through anything  ;).
Be safe,

:2vrolijk_21:  Congrats on getting your new bike in.  There was a couple of inches of snow yesterday morning when we headed out in the murano to go to the South Richmond HOG meeting.  No way I'd of ridden my bike.  But by afternoon, it was all just a memory.  Now looks like dry roads ahead.   :huepfenjump3:

TC,

Looks like you will win the Jester Derby.  The V & H ovals did not come in for my bike, so I have to wait probably another week.

What did you end up doing for the initial tune?  Did you find a SERT?  If so, how long did it take to download the appropriate map (#84?)

John,
Will probably be ready Tuesday.  Didn't find a SERT.  I'm gonna ride her stock and like I got a warranty  ;) for the breakend and hopefully the SERTs will be back in stock at that point.
I plan to start with a roll your own A/C, V&H true duals and the stock slip-ons.  I'll see how that goes and hopefully by then Ironhorse will have received his S&S Police Interceptors and I'll see what he thinks of them from a sound & performance perspective.  Just hoping heat isn't a real issue...

Went to the dealer yesterday to see the bike.  You know how when you visit a friend  or relative in the hospital after major surgery and it's a bit of a shock - they just don't look like themselves??  So my first siting of my Jester is attached.  First thought?  Chief's "tear down"...  There were parts everywhere :o.
Guess I shouldn't have been surprised.  Work will continue through Monday.  Probably not ready until Tuesday.  The Chubby's are...well CHUBBY.  Had no idea they'd be that beefy.  Look good (I think  ;)).  For TCnBham or anyone else with these bars and using a GPS mount - is the diameter on the Chubbys 1 1/4"?  The stock Ultra bars are 1" I believe, so I'll need to get a new bar mount for my Garmin.  TIA for an answer on this.
Wanted to share a  picture of the first personal siting of the ride.  Needless to say the missus was greatly "underwhelmed"...
I have to tell everyone that all the parts are still with her, so all those nasty things you say about firedood and his uncontrollable OCD can't possibly be true!! :huepfenlol2: (Gary - you're still da' man in my book!  Will let you know when I'm picking the bike up.)
Thanks to RedDevil for showing - always great to put a face to a name.  Actually we've known each other through the HOG Chapter for some time.  Just couldn't connect the dots.
Anyway here's the B&O CUSE in all her scattered glory... :huepfenlol2:

Tony,
I would say looking good, but that wouldn't be the right words.  I see why you said that you almost cried when you saw the bike yesterday.  :'(  That's a shock to the system.  But I know the boys at Waugh's will have that all nice and shiney by Tuesday and you'll have a grin that goes from ear to ear the minute you fire that puppy up.
I knew once we put name to face, you'd remember me.  Now the chapter has to watch out, cuz two sailors will be working in parallel and they won't know what's hit them.   ;D
Unfortunately, I won't be able to come down Tuesday to enjoy your getting the ride.  I hate it when work gets in the way of my riding. :P  But gotta pay the bills somehow.
I hope you can get it Tuesday...remember :worthless:
Cheers :2vrolijk_21:,

TC,
Some here (Amigo's ) just love giving me the business (guess it's because I give it back every chance I get :D), but there is no need for anyone to worry. I might see something I like and copy it but that's it. Glad you got to see the bike, and hopefully get to pick it up on Tuesday. I'll be waiting to hear from you.

Congratulations on getting a new bike. Despite the way it looks now I am sure it will all be in one happy piece when you will pick it up.

Many happy miles!

Hope you get some saddle time on Tuesday. I have the same bars, Wild Ones Chubbys, on my 2002 Roadking and they are 1 1/4. Very comfortable ride with them. Sure wish it would warm up some.

Tony,
I know you're going to have a looooooooooong night ahead of you.  I didn't sleep at all the night before I picked mine up... ;D  Did you trade the '03 in on the SEUC or are you putting it on consignment down at Waugh's?

Red,
Doing the trade thing.  They're treating me very fair on it.  4+ years old 44K.  'Bout half the CUSE cost.
