Roger G. Lane (Trapperdog) left us on October 14, 2022 in Jamestown, California due to complications from a motorcycle accident on September 13, 2019.
He was born on October 6, 1955 in La Jolla, California. He is survived by his loving girlfriend Melanie J. Simpson (sgchick), sister Nancy Lane, son Jake Crider, grandsons Carson, Cooper, and Maddox and granddaughters Colbie and Amelia.

Roger Lane worked as a landscape contractor for 25 years, and later for a private businessman and family in Los Altos, California.

A lifetime lover of pets, Roger could be found daily at the Mountain View Dog Park with his dog Gunner. Rogers interests were varied and included martial arts and motorcycling.

Known for his sharp wit, Roger had a great sense of humor often leaving his friends and family laughing out loud. Roger was outgoing and never hesitated to help a friend in an instant.  He was smart, clever, athletic, mechanically inclined and good with his hands.  Melanie has said he was and always will be the love of her life.  If your love is strong like Melanie‚Äôs, we believe that Roger would love any donation to an animal shelter in his name in lieu of flowers.
