135 ci kit
« on: August 02, 2024, 10:18:10 AM »

So I see that Harley has now come out with the 135 ci kit for the 2023.5 and 2024 CVO's. So the question is who's gonna make the leap?

They also have the 135 crate engine also. You have to buy the exhaust for it separately even if you don't want to use it. Right now Ken Barner dealerships in VA are tossing in a 135 engine with the purchase of a new '24 RG or SG. They are a MSRP dealer.

Wow that's a good deal I think.

This is interesting, I guess the Harley tuner now works in the VVT motor.

I haven't seen anything showing a dyno sheet.

I do not believe that 135 motor is vvt will not work in 2024 models! At least that’s what it says on Harley’s web site.

I am referring to part #92500099

On line cost is $4449.95. It says it fits 2023 CVO Street Glide and 2024 CVO Street Glide. It says also 2023 and 2024 CVO Road-Glide too.

A couple guys in a Facebook group I'm in have already dropped the crate engine in their non CVO 24 models.

What Facebook group is that please.  I’m really interested in doing the kit with my 2023.5 CVO if I can.

I'll post the link to the group, but I'm pretty sure it isn't a replacement for the VVT engine. The guys that did it have non CVO bikes. With that said, there's a crate engine and an upgrade kit I believe.

You'll need to answer the normal questions and it's helpful if you have  a pix visable to the admins so they accept you in the group. Locked profiles don't get accepted. It keeps out the spammers.

just saw and heard this new 135 for the 23.5 CVO at Riding High Harley in High Point NC. VVT is no longer used on this engine. Also saw a video of a Dyno run from Europe numbers look great. I understand only 5-6 of this have been shipped. Cam doesnt sound so wild. Chris is the service manager

Those that want a good power bagger will love the HP/TQ the kit will provide under factory warranty.
Those of us that are banned from any mods to our bikes are forced to build our own.
Quite a few SE parts are not for sale in CA.

I chose to “build my own” to get to those numbers back in 2019 ( for track use only) and have close 80k on the motor on STOCK bottom end. LOVE the power and smooth delivery.
This 135 should be in the same ballpark.

You’re moving a lot of LBS and “There’s no replacement for…………”

Probably metric numbers so they look fantastic :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3:  I wonder if the Euro bikes are subject to limited tuning abilities like we are here in the States.
