I had some difficulty posting this question. I removed the loop and replaced it with the claw. Too busy, since seeing Skycuse relocate his license plate and remove his loop, I thought since I have it laying around why not give it a try, I want to fill the holes with chrome bullets, how can I go about accomplishing this? I can probably get chrome plugs to fill the holes and screw the bullets into them. Does anyone here know where to get those chrome plugs? help me fill the holes. I dont want lights in there.

This is where I would get creative at the hardware store or bicycle shop.

Can't remember who it was or where they got them from but there are some lights that will fit right in those holes. Sorry I can't remember who/where these are, but maybe they'll see this or somebody will remember who/where they are at and chime in.

Ok, I think I found what I was mentioning earlier. These are in the J&P catalog and are made by AutoGem.

Shot Gun marker lights from AutoGems™ are made exclusively for FLH and Road King® models 1989-2007. It's an ideal choice when you are trying to eliminate the stock license plate bracket. You'll be able to retain the support for the fender and saddlebags and then convert to a laydown fender mount license plate bracket. Red and amber 12-volt gems for the standard Shot Gun lights are cut from glass for superior life. Illumination for the LED Shot Gun is provided by AutoGems™ LEDPower Jewels. Sold in pairs.

Also found the homepage for AutoGem you may see more variety and better pricing there.

What about taking some of these chrome license plate fasteners and just uses some JB Weld or other epoxy and sticking the nut and stud in place in the hole.  Here's a link to the chrome hardware that I'm talking about:

I like the suggestion Gary made.  Gives another light source at the rear of the bike too.

I see these on some Police bikes and they show up much longer than the taillights do.

AutoGem lights on my SEEG
Are these just running lights or running/brake lights?

I have them hooked up as running lights and turn signals, going to add brakes when the rest of my FLHX ground effects parts arrive.
