I like the looks of those. I might try the running and brake lights. Those are the radiantz ones I assume?

I have them hooked up as running lights and turn signals, going to add brakes when the rest of my FLHX ground effects parts arrive.

Icy, looks like it's got two rearward facing little pink light up nipples (not that that is a bad thing).

Problem wouldn't be following it.  Problem would be not zoning out on everything else.

Actually do like the little lights though.  And I hate that faux luggage rack abortion of a part we're stuck with on the SEEGs.  Does nothing but get in the way and scrape your knuckles.  I think the red bike has got all it's going to get this spring though (it scored perhaps too well this year).  So maybe later.

This is what drew me to removing it. I still havent completely disregarded the "claw" luggage rack, but I ordered the new license plate relocator from Kuryakyn, I'll have to wait and see. But, I like the look of that rear fender. Clean and simple. Lets see what the tour pack looks like after all is said and done, thats the way I do most riding, two up chopped tour pack on.

Your bike has done well this winter/spring. :2vrolijk_21: We just need the weather to break so you can get out and ride. All the idle time when it's cold is the "OCD Devils" workshop. ;D

Your bike has done well this winter/spring.

Yeah Gary, really too much.  Sort of got on a roll I guess.  The upgraded brakes were due so I was glad to get the Hawg Halters.  The engraved legs were completely and totally impulse though.  Just saw it and went "hmmm, gotta have it."  Having the legs off led to the Traxxion Dynamics thing.  Doing the engine work and Thundermax thing over the winter led to the oil temp gauge as I wanted some redundancy in data not knowing for sure just exactly how the new ECM handled temp management.  That meant taking the fairing off and seeing all the new divots.  Which led to the new fairing.  All of that led to a fair bit of just basic maintenance while so much of the bike was apart.  So replaced a cruise control stepper cable that had been problematic, all the rest of a major service, changed fluids in the rear and clutch hydraulics, etc etc etc.  Also started messing with the power saddlebag locks while it was all apart too.  And hell, I'm probably forgetting something.....  Like I said, the bike did pretty good this spring.

Yep, that lists just proves to much time, to much knowledge, to many tools, and the ability to do it yourself just makes that OCD/SEO devil work overtime. :huepfenlol2:

Fortunately none of it was tough chores.  Even swapping the legs myself would have been easy enough if I'd chosen to send parts down there rather than using it as an excuse for a road trip.  The only things that really took awhile are the ongoing saddlebag power locks.  Just started that yesterday.  The lock parts set itself is a bit of a jigsaw puzzle to assemble inside of each bag.  That took a surprising amount of time the first time but is one of those things that would much quicker a next time around.

The other part that required some attention to detail was making up the harness from scratch.  Harley has separate part numbers for all the hard parts.  But they don't have the harness separately.  It's apparently built in to the main harness on the SEUCs so Harley doesn't offer it by itself.  Fortunately there are diagrams readily available so the chore is a relatively simple one.  Couple of relays, a switch, a little diode, a bunch of crimps and a little creative construction later and it all works while setting on the bench.  Now just have to hang it on/in the bike and put the fairing and tank back on.  Then spring chores will be done.  Yeah !!

I had some difficulty posting this question. I removed the loop and replaced it with the claw. Too busy, since seeing Skycuse relocate his license plate and remove his loop, I thought since I have it laying around why not give it a try, I want to fill the holes with chrome bullets, how can I go about accomplishing this? I can probably get chrome plugs to fill the holes and screw the bullets into them. Does anyone here know where to get those chrome plugs? help me fill the holes. I dont want lights in there.
Check out bruisersinc.com Thats the place I got my end caps. $10.95 for the pair and they have several types. Hope this helps.

Another option is to JB Weld some head bolts in the pipe and then put your favorite head bolt cover on the 12-point end.

Did you get the license plate eliminator from them? I guess you just screw the end bolts to it. What is the outside diameter of the bullets?
