Klock Werks 2023.5
« on: November 17, 2024, 08:09:56 AM »

I had been running the 12" Harley shield but it was about an inch two tall, good protection though.  I did try the Freedom shield 12" way to much wind, then the 13" still not enough protection.  Their 14" would have been in my line of sight.

I was in Daytona and asked JP Cycles if they had Klock Works demo shields.  They said no.  They only had a Dark Tint 12" sport flair in stock.  They said if I let them put it on, I could return it after I road it for a bit.  Well they put it on,  decided not to make me buy it to  try  it.  Rode it about 30 miles.  When back and bought it.

It's not perfect, but looks 100% better.  Does a good job of protecting me from the wind.  I can see over it better than the HD 12" and its the same for wind protection.

Lookin’ good, Dave.

I too, have the Klock Werks - when with the lesser tint. I like it, give way better protection than the original stock screen.

I see you have swapped the air cleaner - any issues with it from a legroom perspective?

Also, I see you have a trunk?
Were you able to match-up the latch/lock to work with the automatic bag locks?

Ride safely,  Bubba

There are a few sizes for the Sport Flare,  and my 12" is the tallest.  They also make two sizes for the Pro Tour.  Flare and tour have very different shapes.

I'm 6'0" and do not have any leg room issues.

Yes the factory tour pack is mounted in the solo position.

I have not attempted to try to get the power lock to line up or fit the chopped tour pack.  I have thought about it though.

Klock Weks is the best, rode cross country twice on a 2023.5 CVO and worked great and looks great!
