First Timer CVO 2006 Ultra Glide

Just bought a Stock 2006 with fresh compensator and high volume oil pump.
I intend to contact the ‘Stealer’ that installed the parts with the VIN.
I can find out any parts and work done on the bike.
It comes with the Orange tuner married to the bike.
The exhaust is also stock so not a true dual.

I am hoping when the oil pump was installed that the lifter cage was changed from plastic to better?
Not saying S & S but if one exists for the SE 2006, it would be nice……
I also am interested in if the compensator installed was the style with a bearing in place of the flange washer??

The previous owner had the work done in California.
The 103 has a good rep. Though the CVO package is not much internal but external goodies.
Though some performance parts are in the engine.
Is there a link that I can learn about a 2006 103 Classic Ultra Glide SE motor compared to a standard?

Hi, and welcome.
I think you’ll find the 2006 twin cam does not have lifter cuffs. Instead, they have a hardened pin that drops into the lifter cavity, to stop the lifters from rotating.

The first ride struck me how comfortable the saddle is.
Do you know if the touring trunk is ‘quick release?
After doing some reading there are a few engine characteristics that make the early run of the 103 a favorite.
I feel fortunate having acquired this bike, only 25k on the clock.

The tour pak is a fixed mount.  There are kits to make it detachable.  That's only half the battle though.  Your audio system's amplifier mounts under the tour pak and something else has to done with that amp if you go the route of the quick detach kit.  Many stuck them in the saddlebag.  But you'll have to do something with it.
