Hey there and hello from Texas. Yes and No, to answer your question. Someone suggested I put a 1000 miles on it and get to know her. Another brought to my attention that a springer front end doesn't handle like hydraulic forks, and it needs to be man handled, so to speak. With that in mind, I took a more aggressive approach to riding it, and I have logged over a 1000 miles. I still have a ways to go before I think I will be in sync with it, but I'm already enjoying it much more. That's the yes part. The no part is that it still dives to the left if I let go of the bars and I think at least one of my springer rods is bent. I'm debating whether to disassemble the front end and purchase only the parts that are obviously out of true, or just get new springs, rods and all, and rebuild it. The latter seems more sensible, but whew.. these parts are expensive. I have found cheap (much cheaper) after-market parts but I'm thinking I want to go OEM while I still can. In which case, I'm looking at about $1200 U.S. I figure I'll get around to it in December, when it's usually cold and wet.
