(part 2) On the right hand side, the gap is 1".  Seems to me that my wheel may be off toe by half an inch, hence my handling issue.  What do you think?

Certainly looks "strange".

I will push my own 2008 out of the garage today to the daylight and will take the same photos for comparison.

Best to be careful with "the angle of the dangle" less the camera angle complicates.

Hopefully you can contact the fellow in the US I mention in the last coupla posts. The backyard genius bloke.

In all my previous research , I found that the 2008 CVO Springer front end is 80% similar to a Crossbones and same to a heritage Springer.

Just those forks are black or chrome, not frame coloured like yours.

Ronnies HD site has an excellent parts book with exploded diagrams and individual part numbers listed. It was GREAT for me.
