I purchased my FXSTSSE2 this last October. I've put a few hundred miles on it and I think my front suspension is in need of an adjustment. It's never handled right. When I come to a stop, it feels unsteady. When I corner from a stop, it wants to turn wide. When I curve to the left at moderate (30 mph+) speed; the faster I'm going, the more I lean into it, the more it feels like the back end wants to slip out from under me, and it just won't corner tight. It's not like cornering to the right is great, but it's measurably better. When I take my hands off the bars at around 40 mph, it wants to dive to the left. I checked my rear wheel alignment and it's spot on. It has to be the forks. I've never worked on Springer Forks before and I'm not confident any of the local dealers have an experienced Springer man. I have the manual and the suppliment, and I'm good with my hands, but this is my front wheel.. does anyone know of a reliable, serious, trustworthy Springer Fork mechanic in Texas?
