Haven't researched exhausts in a while and just ordered a bike with the 135 kit. I dont know if anything has changed in the last few years on what is out there. I have Fullsac headers and Tab Zombie's on my 19 with the 131 kit and I like the sound and the performance. I have Boarzilla's on my 12 with the S&S HC motor. I like that sound and performance also. Dealer is recommending D&D on new bike. I admit I am very immature and the louder the better as long as it's not hurting performance. My favorite exhaust in the world sound wise are CFR's but my tuner hates them (as do all good tuners I think) so I stay away.
Suggestions??

The Fullsac MX head pipe is one of the best in my opinion.  Works great from stock to wild builds.  My 2019 CVO RG was 130", 163HP and 167 torque with that head picpe and his 2.25" baffles,  a very flat and high torque curve.  Unfortunately the design of the Harley mufflers on the 203.5 and newer CVO's doesn't allow us to run his baffles.

I'm running the TAB Bam Sticks with the 2.5 louvered baffles.  I did not like the Zombie baffles.  Sounded good for short rides, to loud for 300 plus mile days.  They also hurt low end torque.

A good friend runs the D&D on a similar build as my 19 was.  He really likes it, it has a very similar torque curve as my 19 did.  He is in 160 with torque and HP also.

In my opinion the Fulsac head pipe with your muffler choice or the D&D are the way to go.  I have used Fullsac on 8 bikes now, 2 very well built bikes.  Others were just mild.

You're not that far from Lake Havasu City (Fullsac) and I believe that Steve is the only exhaust guy that works specifically with the CVO's.  You might want to give him a call and at least talk with him.

When you get around 140-160+ on the horse power, it’s going to be loud!
All my past bikes used Steve’s headers and CVO muffler with his cores.
This combo will support higher HP with very good TQ where you want it.
A lot depends on a good tune. Steve spends many hours R&D wise on his products and it shows to the end user.

I use my bikes for club rides and touring. Not into loud for hours on the road and with a large group.

For LOUD I take my S&S powered evo on the back roads, mostly solo to listen to the music from my motor!
 JMHO of course!

So not apples to apples but I have a 135 crate motor on my 2022 cvo RGL and have put about 2500 miles on it, only got it put in November so winter riding. Surprised your dealer is recommending new headers, Harley will void your warranty if you don’t use their head pipe. If that’s not a concern, than experiment of course. I have kw hp+ mufflers coupled with the headers and definitely signifantly louder than when those slipons were on the 117. I can see where the motor would be obnoxiously loud with the wrong exhaust. I rode with a guy who has the D&D pipes on his cvo st with the 121 and his bike was as loud as mine.

Hey Dave!

Is your 2023 the New Center Cooled 121?
Yes its center cooled and VVT.  I'm really liking it.  A couple are working on Cams and tuners for it. Impact seems to be the only one that can tune it so far.  Waitingg on TTS or Power vision. I feel it is the best stock M8 so far.
