Late model crank in a early model bike ?????
« on: April 28, 2025, 01:10:55 PM »

Hey guys looking for some insight here, im looking at attempting a 4-3/8 crank from a 2009 bike into my 2006. Only differences i can see are on the primary side witch i think can be solved with a comp eliminator? Anyone done this or know of it being done ?

Sure but there is the issue of a much different balance factor. Use a piston that matches the late model flywheel and I think first glance it will work. I am not sure about spacing of the primary chain.
