I need to replace the tappets in my 2000 Screamin' Eagle Road Glide. The bike has about 50,000 miles on it and one of the lifters got stuck the other day. I hadn't rode it in a year. Once the bike cooled off, it became unstuck, but today I took it for another short ride and I can hear tappet noise.

I found a new old stock set in my garage. Made in USA by Harley Davidson (Or actually made by whoever Harley Davidson's vendor was back then. )

The OEM packaging is dated 07/12/00 with part number 18538-99A.

Also, can I use the S&S Quickee adjustable push rods with these tappets ?

Thank you for your help !

The lifters were for the tc 88 and 96 motors. I would check with a dealer since you have the SE 95 motor.
“The Harley-Davidson part number 18538-99A fits Twin Cam models from 1999 to 2017. The "A" in the part number indicates a design revision of the original 18538-99 part. “

Don't know why I didn't think of this before, but I did find an online parts manual. I was happy to see that these are the right tappets.

The 99A lifters were OEM Johnson HyLift and they're a good lifter.  Yes, you can use the pushrods you mentioned with them.

If the bike is at 50,000 miles and these other things haven't been done don't go in that far without replacing the cam chain tensioners and the inner cam bearings.  You're already on borrowed time with that many miles if not yet done.

I'm the second owner. The first owner always took it to the Harley Davidson dealer and they did the Screamin' Eagle hydraulic tensioners with the high volume oil pump but I don't know about the inner Cam bearings. I visually opened it up to verify that.
