Flo Oil Filters
« on: October 28, 2025, 06:26:42 PM »

These oil filters seem to be a good investment, they state 7 times the amount of oil flow being a 35 micron absolute filter with no inner media support to restrict the flow.
Video has a full in depth run down on them.

Interested to know if anybody is using them and if they have had any issues.

Interesting.  That filter lets a lot bigger particle through the motor.  The M8 filter is larger than the twin cam filter and flows 25% more.  The M8 filters is 5 microns, so it filters a lot more than 35 microns.

Just bought one. Good reviews and well made. The magnet in the bowl is a +.

Yup, I would worry about a 35 micron filter letting the small particles flow though.

I may be over thinking a bit but with having no back flow valve will unfiltered oil flow back when engine is shut down.

Are you talking about the anti drainback valve? It keeps the oil from draining out of the filter when the bike is shutdown so next time you crank it, you don’t have a dry start. Sorry, I haven’t watched this dudes video.
