I’m curious about the paint scheme and if it will have black wheels and engine etc. Also if the tour pack will have rear lights. Also wondering about the rear fender design etc.
We (Canada) have no pricing yet according to my Dealer. Let me know what the US price is if you find out
My GM said that the Tour Paks are redesigned more to match the chiseled look of the tank and will have lights on them, unlike the 2025 Street Glide Ultra now. But... no speaker pods like the Tri Glide Ultra for '25. He said they were built in, so to speak, but will have rear speakers. Still room for two full helmets.
His buddy from another dealership here in MI buddied up with my GM during the trip there and back along with them being riding buddies during the bike ride reviews. The GM said his friend is an engineering type of guy and is constantly complaining about and changing things on Harleys. My GM asked him after their couple hours of riding what he would change on the new CVO Trike. It took him a bit of time, and then said, nothing!!! That is, he would change nothing, it's so much of an improvement over the '25 models that he'd leave it alone. My GM said that the new rear suspension is night and day over the existing older solid axle design. Nothing was said at the meeting about HOW it all worked, but said that it was still a solid axle setup.
The '25 and older has a "Y" shaped swingarm that has the outboard ends bolting directly to the axle assembly tubes and does NOT articulate. Meaning that if you took the shocks off the older style and raised one wheel, the other side would just go up with it. The swing arm assembly does not allow any twisting at all. Now picture a car with a solid rear axle assembly. They have the same individual springs/shocks one on each side that support that side wheel... BUT, one wheel can go up independently of the other side. That is not quite IRS type rear suspension, but comparing it to the old style Harley, it IS...
He did say no drive shafts. I'm thinking outside the box a bit, but what if the same swingarm assembly could swivel in the center on the bike frame, that would allow independent up/down of each side wheel. There's already a panhard bar on the older trikes. Can't figure out with the type of "Y" shaped solid swingarm, why they would need or install a panhard bar. For those not versed in suspension lingo, a panhard bar keeps the rear end assembly centered in the frame from side to side while still allowing the rearend to move up/down. With a panhard bar and a swivel mount in the center of the "Y" frame mounted swingarm, you would have a semi-independent rear suspension.
The only issue is this, if there is no drive shaft, what if the drive belt could just take up that very slight twisting from the trans drive pulley to the rear pulley??? In reality, there would not be much of a twist of the belt even at full articulation. It might just work!!!

Anyway, my GM said the ride overall and on bumpy roads was great, totally unlike the '25 models.
I told him that I had seen a video, maybe the police bike review or one of the other carryover model reviews, about how well the '26 6-speed shifted and that it was LOTS smoother in the gears and neutral was much easier to find. He confirmed that was true.
Also, since it was a Street Glide per say, it does have the fairing mounted mirrors. Harley sells an $11 kit to plug the mirror holes and the handlebar lever mounting already has the old-style mirror holes in them. So, another $150 for good mirrors will be coming soon...

I have a call into him now, but he's not called me back yet. In his last he said,
"also...pricing is better than expected.
Not be a huge amount but definitely better." That's what I called him about and when does he want my deposit check???. My gut is guessing that it will be
$59,999.00. The '22 had a MSRP of $54,999.00. With all of the new Street Glide techno stuff and redesigns here and there, keeping a five-year newer bump to just $5,000.00, is somewhat unexpected maybe. I'm sure Harley does not want a bike to be $60,000.00!!!
Sorry for rambling again.

I may have some $$$$ information soon.
Dan
It would be nice if they ordered one of each color combo and then we could just pick the one we liked in person. But this is a small dealership and they might not be willing to have the most expensive Harley available as inventory; aside from the Road Glide RR, that is.
