March 9th 2026 Harley released a new Skyline OS update.  CAL: 260405002D  The last update was January 2025.

This new update is supposed to show up on the Harley APP and be able to be done over the Air.  It's not showing up on my App, and my app is showing my software is up to date with the Jan 2025 update. Has it shown up for you?  Several in a Facebook group have had it show up and did the update.

"In the friction zone" you tuber said the Skyline os update had been pushed back  to March 16th 2026. I think this applies to the 2023.5 and 2024's. I can't remember.  Where as the 2025's can get the update now and the 2026's already have the update. I think that's what he said.

I saw that also in his video. We should be seeing that update tomorrow, which is March 16.

Today is the 17th, still not showing on the Harley App. On website is is showing released for the 23 and 24 models with skyline OS.  Looks like it should help with a couple of my issues.  Not sure I can do the update until it shows on my phone App.

Dave - I looked yesterday, but not today. Is what’s on the HD site today listed for “OTA” (over the air) yet?  The “In the Friction Zone” on YouTube has a new video posted this afternoon:

It showed up on my Phone HD app yesterday evening.  I'll try to install it later today.

I was able to perform the Over The Air update today - at least it's showing version "5057D" now.
I keep the bike on the (HD) tender whenever it's parked in the garage - so was able to get through
the download and update without putting the bike on the charger (since the 2023.5 versions won't
charge through the LH side charging lead when in Accessory mode) without a low battery concern.

If you don’t see the update check and make sure that the date is correct on the bike.  Mine was off 2 years.  Then it should appear.

Bike and App now tell me there is an update available.  WiFi signal in my grage is not strong enough.  When I get home next week Ill take  ride to get a stronger signal.

Updated the Skyline yesterday.
Worked ok on ride yesterday.
Well, about 1.5 hours into my ride today, SkylineOS “dropped” Apple CarPlay, and wouldn’t reload.
Won’t load on the headset or using the MeadHawk.
Assume there must be “something else” wrong - but I really don’t want to take it to the dealer and be without the bike for days or weeks!

I have not yet been able to do the update.  Bike will not connect to my phone WiFi hot spot. I have it set for 5Mhz which is required for connection.  The can not connect comes up immediately.  Bike will also not connect to home WiFi.  Takes a long while for this to say can't connect.  Use to connect every time I pull in garage.

Not sure if I can update with USB or not as I use a Mac Book

I connected to the home WiFi, but had to set the router up on top of the cabinet and prop the door to the garage open to get a good enough signal 🤪
