« on: April 13, 2007, 01:06:01 AM »

If the MOCO monitors this site, it probably won't be for long.    8)   Plastic cheaper than metal?   :nixweiss:   Like you asked, it really doesn't make sense, both are overpriced anyway but what's stopped us before?

Gee, ya think? :huepfenlol2:

Might be able to get away with that look on a Gold Wing, but IMHO, those would really detract from the personality and style of a SEEG.

Maybe done in combination with some whitewalls would help? :nixweiss: :huepfenjump3:

About the only thing they belong on is a std Ultra.. (and that's doubtful).. They definitely are not for a sport bike like the SEEG's or SEUltra's but everyone has different tastes.  Maybe in Canada you need them for bad roads and winter driving.. :nixweiss:   A friend has them ordered for an 07 Ultra and I just shook my head.

Definitely not for me either, I'm still shaking my head at your buddy . What a waste of chrome.

But I guess if it makes the owner happy, that's all that counts. Everyone has different tastes. IMHO They only belong on spoke wheels with whitewalls. To me they'd be out of place on chrome mag wheels.

I have to agree. Why would you buy a bike for 30 grand that has custom paint and a lot of chrome and then put a set of CHEESIE ROTOR COVERS on the bike?????

Break the bank and buy a set of chrome calipers for about 800 bucks with chrome hardware and a set of chrome russell rotors. A lot more money but IMHO it will look like a million bucks!

Be Safe
