After a couple hour's running around yesterday and then rolling again a good chunk of this afternoon I gave the red bike something more than a half-assed cleaning this afternoon.  Had the camera in the tour pak so grabbed a few pics when it was all done.

That was the answer to the question I don't need to ask.

Thanks Chip.  It runs good (at least good enough for me), it sounds good and it looks good.  That's a trifecta in my world.  Was just looking at the pics from today again and realized I like it even better from the other side.  After a lot of indecision (and a few hours of machine work and CNC engraving) the air cleaner ended up being a really good choice to work with the motor and leave it visible at the same time.

Thanks Mike.  Appreciate that a lot.  I was shooting as the light was going away for the evening so it was tough to catch as these pics were being taken. But the heads and jugs got diamond cut during the same work that got the power coating done.  In the right light those facets just jump too.  Don't get me wrong, I love the powder coating.  But the diamond cutting makes that color work stand out 1000% more.  It's really a great combination.  Hopefully this will show the facets on the diamond cut a bit better.  Hard to make them jump without better light though.

They certainly are, you are leaving us all way behind. Gives me something to think about untill I blow up my motor and we have to crack the case's someday.

I'm not even close to in the lead Mike.  The red bike is doing a really good job of being what I like and matching my tastes and riding style.  But with all the detail work in Grover's bike or the guys that have done wheels and pulleys and rotors and fenders and too many other things to mention the red bike here is still just a Saturday night cruise in machine compared to some of those that have really gotten to be show bikes.

I like my red diamond cut cylinders and jugs just fine.  But I was lazy enough to stop right there.  Find a picture of Pete's bike (PJ57) someplace.  He powder coated EVERYTHING.  Cylinders, heads, all the cases, the bike's frame, his boots and underwear, overnight kit and special edition SEEG Powder Coated Condom; EVERYTHING.

So....  my red bike is nice.  And I like it a lot.  It certainly rides great.  But it's easily a tier below some of the machines had by some our friends and neighbors here
