Thanks to skycuse2 and CVOwner I moved my license plate tonight to underneath the rear fender.

I started by removing the bags as with everything that gets done to this bike! The next thing to come off was the bag fillers.

I was able to take the mounting nut for the fender bracket off without removing the filler but the bolt wouldn't come out so off they came.

The bracket I was trying to gain access to. This is what will hold my Kuryakyn curved plate bracket.

The previous mounting configuration had my plate at an angle under the bike. So I had to move it to the other side of the fender/bag bracket. This required some "clearancing" of the plate holder.

I had to super glue the two parts of the light together as the proposed mounting location didn't lend itself the using the screw holes. I used double sided tape to hold the light to the fender.

My ONLY concern is if the Kuryakyn bracket will hold up. Will the vibration and general road abuse break the two tabs? I do have a second bracket that came with my light bar that I could mount behind the plate as a backing plate. Than again that doesn't have any more meat around the bolt holes but does offer some structural support.

I dont think the tabs will break off unless the plate is stressed. The one that I used has a slot in it that slips over the middle part of the bracket that attaches to fender bolt. So, if the tabs did break on mine it would just dangle from the middle.
Question: You took the LED from the turn signal bracket? I never thought of that! Now I have to take the whole damn thing apart again. Well my hand hasnt healed up yet anyway.

So you removed the light and lengthened the wires and double sided taped it to the bracket? HMMMM, I'll have to give that a look.

I was fortunate and didn't have to lengthen the wires. 

I'm happy with the way it looks. It helped clean the back of my bike up.
